Shane
Just a short note to let you know how much I enjoyed your performance last night @ the Showcase. This was my first time to attend, and I must admit that I was VERY impressed. I wish that you would have had CD's on sale, but as I see from your web-site they can be purchased here. As for your playing ability, I would put you right at the top with Chet Atkins. Again thanks for a GREAT show and I look forward to seeing you again real soon.

Hi Shane. Tonight I saw you at the VBC Playhouse in Huntsville, AL. You were a stand-in for some guy who couldn't make it, and I have to say you were my favorite artist all night. The 'Free Bird' rendition you threw out there dropped my jaw. You're an amazing musician, and I consider myself very lucky to have heard you. Thanks for a wonderful show!

Hi Shane, I saw you at CAAS. I love your style (hard driving thumb-pick). Some fellows are kinda getting away from that. You should come to Alaska some day?

Shane, it was so good to see you at the 6th Annual Lincoln Co. Bluegrass & Craft Festival last weekend! Thanks for the comments and the photos from our event - doesn't seem possible that we've been doin' this for 6 years - and it just gets better! Our next Bluegrass & BBQ evening is scheduled for April 19, 2008 at the Lincoln Co. High School - our featured entertainment is "The Grascals" who stole the show last year here in Fayetteville, and just won their 2nd consecutive IBMA "Entertainer of the Year" award! Hope you'll put us on your calendar for April - tickets will go on sale the first of the year. (Remember our first one, when we first met you!?)Thanks, Shane; we've been following your achievements, too!

Very good pickin. I married an Alabama girl and we soon moved to Alaska. Now she gets to hear me try to sound like you super pickers all winter long. I'm 64 now and I don't think I'll ever make it. When we get to the other side, perhaps I could sit in on a couple songs with the likes of you, Bob Saxton, Duane Friend, Merle and Chet to name a few. I'll try not to mess up too bad. Once again, very good picking!

Sorry that we missed you at Burritt. We didn't get the word until the next day. You might want to check out Kenny Mangos on the North Side Square in Huntsville as a smalll venue to play. No beer, no smoke and very few weirdos. It's sort of a clean cut coffee shop. Rocky

Good Morning all...

I just wanted to send you a great big Thank You for coming out to spend the evening with us at Mom & Dads last night. Dad was SO PROUD to have you there!! You sounded wonderful and are blessed with the voice of an angel. My daughter, Madison has offically memorized every word to "Taters & Beans"...and thanks to her..so have I!! hehe... You guys are so special to make that long trip for us. Shane, if your ears were burning last night around 10pm, it was because my little ole grandma said, "That Shane SURE is a fine lookin' man"!! Lisa, I hope you eventually got some of that homemade ice-cream. They ONLY made around 25 gallons yesterday!! I think I actually got 2 SMALL cups! Those Curvins definitely love their homemade ice-cream. Got to be quick around this bunch. Again, thank you so much. I appreciate you for helping make mom and dads special night so wonderful.
